Species as Vatica chinensis (a critically endangered evergreen tree species), Hopea erosa, (a critically endangered evergreen tree species endemic to South Western Ghats) Dipterocarpus indicus (an endangered evergreen flagship tree species for the identification of forest types) Ochreinauclea missionis, Garcinia wightii, Kingiodendron pinnatum are a few remarkable samplings to be emphasised. The species are categorized in to medicinal species, wild ebonies, gum, oil and timber yielding and wild edibles. .
